With the old batteries I'm pretty sure the battery charge gauge would shoot up during start up and fall down to zero within several seconds. Now, with the new batteries it is showing its charging while it's running. Also, I have not checked the FU1 fuse, but I will when I get back home.
Hi everyone. Everything is pretty much good on my 803 at this point. Although the batteries I have in it are really old, the other day I went to crank it and they were dead. I charged them and ran it a couple times just fine and this morning it was dead again. I think its just the batteries. I...
The petcock valve was open. Didn't realize it had one, I should have caught that. I really hope I didn't jack anything up while I was running it with it open.
Apparently I'm loosing coolant from the drain hose while the generator is running. I'm pretty sure the low point radiator pet cock is not leaking by. What would cause coolant to flow out of the hose while running? Also, the over flow tank, the coolant level sometimes rises and falls while the...
Fixed. I pulled off the can and removed the ring gasket. It looked fine with no cuts or pinched areas so I reinstalled it. I didn't allow the can to rotate as I tightened it and made sure the ring stayed in its grove and the can seated directly into the gasket. I turned the ignition switch on...
I'm curious if the ring that came with this filter is possibly not a square ring and possibly part of the problem. I plan on looking at it this evening when I get home. I might find the part number and order several spares just to have.
I notice I'm getting a drip of fuel running down my metal canister of the fuel filter housing. I changed the filter along with all new o-rings along with the large one which appears to be the one leaking. I removed the filter and oring, inspected it, and replaced it along with rubbing a little...
A little update for all the supporters and folks that might run into the same issue. I bought new cannon plugs for the male and female sides along with new pins as suggested. The pin push out tool is a must and mostly worked well except for one of the pins which was corroded pretty bad which got...
Hi all. I finally got my cannon plug pin issue resolved with new plugs/pins and ol' girl runs great, so thanks for everyone's support. Now, with it running I notice the Hz adjustment know spins and works as it should if I'm tightening or increasing the Hz. However, when I turn the knob to the...
Got it, thanks. And this tool works for the male and female pins? You just put the tool directly on the pin and push in towards the back of the plug I assume?
I bought the new pins and plugs. When they come in I will be able to save nearly all the old pins and only need to replace several of the old jacked up ones. How do I go about removing the old puns from the old plugs? And do they just push in and clip in place in the new plugs? And the several...
I'm looking for the part numbers for P7 and J7. I willborder new plugs and pins and go from there but I'm not seeing them. Dies anyone have the part numbers to the plugs or know a place that probably sells them?
Could you please give me more information on the locater which is in the plug? My plug is kind of jacked up and probably will require me replacing the entire plug if I don't bypass it and solder connect all the wires bypassing it. Thanks
I haven't found any content on the plug P7/J7 as far as all the wires which go through that plug. I'm curious what wires go to what component. The best I can make the wires out their numbers are:
1338
1010
118B
101C
143B
119E
132B
131B
1170
178B
141B
115M
129B
128B
143B
Does anyone have...
Would it be an overkill if I ordered a new cannon plug and all new pin connectors and change the entire thing out? Also, that wire is discolored and it looks like it has a good bit of corrosion in the end of it. If I cut the wire back to get good clean wire and shoulder in what I need does...
