I am sorry for your loss Dave. It sounds like your dad was a truly great man. Very neat that he left those 71 pages about his life. What a priceless thing to leave his family!!
You are in our thought and prayers down here. If you need anything or just need to talk, let me know
I have to...
I suppose I should have clarified that I have never seen the contract number and FSN on an M135 data plate. Sorry for the confusion.
These are 3 of the 4 data plates off of the trucks I own. Is it possible the Ord. Stock Number stamped on two of the plates is the number that is being searched for?
I read that the Canadian Military switched to using 15w40 in these engines. I have also heard that Shell Rotella 15w40 has the zinc additives that old engines need. You'll have to decide what is best for you but this is what I plan to run in mine when I get her back on the road.

Your paint should be fine if it isn't bubbling up or anything. A few days in the...
I'm using Behr as well. So far I am very happy with it, but I have been careful to not get it wet until dry.
What is the paint doing since it keeps getting wet?
You are cleaning that truck up fast. Looks great!! What paint did you use and what is the paint code?
Very cool that you and SturmTyger380 live so close.
Here are the measurements of my exhaust stack.
 Trying to find a truck with a cab heater isn't so easy down here. I think Canada ended up with all of them. One of these days I'll have to try to get you to sell me one or two.
Transmission output shaft seal.
I will get these part numbers added soon. I'm in the middle of setting up a new computer and still need to buy MS Office so I can get back to updating the parts list.
Thank you for the part number M37keppy! I will get it added to the list soon. I'm in the middle of getting a new computer setup and still need to add MS Office so I can edit the parts list.
If that is the U-joint in plowboy's book you are looking for, we have it in our parts list as Spicer 5-115X, Rockwell CP115X, Dana 4-6-128X and Precision 332. You can probably find the dimensions you are looking for googling one of those.
