The one in CARNAC's picture is a Douglas crimp tool. Another option is the Ideal/Buchanan C-24. Home Depot sells those new. They can also be found on ebay for reasonable prices.

The old gaskets were a mess so I brought the flange in for him to measure. Should we start a thread where we can upload gasket templates?

An engineer friend at work drew it up for me.

Here is a gasket template for where the air cleaner mounts to the firewall. It appears to be made out of 1/8 inch rubber. Two are needed.

I did play around with duplicating a 5 ton piston out of 304 stainless. Now that we know it works, I should probably make some more here soon.

Your truck looks very nice!! I use 87 octane with no ethanol. I've not use a lead additive, but maybe I should. Hopefully someone else can tell us what we should do on that part.

Can you give us more details on how you upgraded the fuel pump to one from an M35A2? What modifications were required? You've got some really neat ideas.
