It will probably be a road queen unless I have to get it dirty. I'm ready to get this done and enjoy some "boring" regular preventative maintenance and driving. Don't worry though, I still have one more truck to do and two parts trucks to start pulling apart.

It is just rubber strap I ordered off Amazon that is the same width and thickness as the old deteriorated cotton stuff that was on it. I used weatherstrip adhesive to fasten it in place before I installed the tank. Hopefully the adhesive is strong enough.

We installed the fuel tank last night. There is still some touch up to do on the connections and the fuel pump shield needs installed after that.

Things are turning green again.
