I was talking to Plowboy the other day and he reminded me that I should give an update and post some pictures....so here it is. There is a lot of work being done, most of it on cab related parts and my gosh are there a lot of those. The data plates are done and ready for install. Templates...

    1965 FS595A 24087 = FS595B 24084 = paint composition

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but i found that there were several different colors of 24087 over the years. Some were more brown and others were more green. I searched a lot for the more green color that I liked the best and this was the best match to the look I wanted. It...

    GMC m135 rebuild

Here they are registered by the VIN stamped on the data plate. One of my trucks had the same VIN is a boat motor in this state, so we made the VIN GMCXXXX.

    GMC m135 rebuild

Your VIN should be the number stamped on your data plate as NDT said. It is also stamped on the frame by the passenger side front wheel in front of the shock absorber. Hopefully it matches the plate in the cab.

    GMC m135 rebuild

Welcome to the site! Looks like you aren't too far away from me. I bought the truck in my avatar in Wichita and drove it the 170+ miles home. That was a fun trip. Are you trying to get the hub off or are you trying to get the wheel to turn because the brakes are locked? If you are trying to get...

I think I have the same kind of metal bows you are using. What length did you cut them to? Mine are still too long.

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I'm at the point where I need stencils or decals for my gauges. Dave at Delta Team Decals might be able to make them. Does anyone of you have a gauge panel that has all of these markings still on it? None of my trucks have markings left for me to be able to measure. Here is what the email from...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I ran across this while looking up the Lube Order. I'm not sure that there ever was a revision to TM 9-8024 that reflected the change in checking the transmission fluid after the neutral safety lock was installed. I also wonder if this is even the best way to check it. It is definitely more...

    M220 winch

I can't find any reference to the M220 having a winch in any of the TMs. There are some pictures on Google of a winch on an M220, but they are newer photos. If you put the winch on your M220, I doubt anyone would say anything about it being incorrect. Is that your truck in your avatar? If so...
