I mean when I have the meter on the DC volt setting and connect one lead to the disconnected ground cable and the other lead to the battery post it reads 5 volts. When I do the same test with the meter on the amp scale I get a zero reading. Most vehicles will read a full 12 volt draw due to...
When I first got my unit I was trying to come up with an inexpensive source for batteries. I settled on the Value Power group 26 from Walmart and for the first 11 months they worked out fine. In December the first set failed a day from being out of warranty. Walmart replaced them and I ran the...
Nice basic setup.
If you connect the auxiliary fuel supply you might want to make sure and loosen the vent cap on the drum. Not sure if it would create a vacuum or not. I put some air compressor mufflers on mine to keep them vented all the time. So far I haven't had any condensation problems...
TM specifies normal operating pressure as 25-60 psi. I would assume the variable is hot-cold.
My unit drops to just over 20 and remains for hours under a 40 amp load. I don't plan to look any further into it.

My unit indicated all new filters just before it was surplussed. I may never run it enough...

I put new hoses on mine and did a visual inspection of the thermostat. Mine had a 180 degree thermostat that looks new so I reinstalled it. Running under a 40 amp load my gauge reads right under 180. Shooting the thermostat housing with an IR...
I am not a generator specialist but from a mechanic point of view I probably would run at 50 percent for 10 hours or so then maybe 75 for another 10.
That said, it's probably covered in one of the manuals.
If you are not in a hurry I would let it soak and keep trying to turn it every so often. I wouldn't lean on it hard but try to work it in both directions if you can.
