i see... i heard that REO motors trucks were rare. Serial number and VIN are the same thing right? heres all the info i got on the plate:
NSN: 2320-00-077-1616
Identifiacation No.:129842
i dunno if it means anything but this is the only one of six trucks that has the 00 before the 077.
thanks for that heads up. will make it a lot easier to figure things out in the future. out of curiosity, i have one other deuce that the info plates in the cab state is a REO Motors production. wht are the possible years that this truck could have been made in?

im thinking of converting a standard M35A2 into a dropside. i have no idea wht the hinges look like so i was wondering if someone could provide a few pics.

a whim. probably not the brightest idea I have ever had. oh well. its certainly a learning experience. I get the pleasure of calling somebody at Ft. McClellan to find out what year and make these rigs are.
and i do intend to get the best stuff out of all of them. my intention however is to get...
I recently purchased 6, yes 6 Duces from GL. I am a first time owner and currently am enjoying the process of figuring out wht is wht on these things. I was wondering if there is a dip stick somewhere on a duce for checking transmission fluid level. The truck in front of my home atm seems to be...
