OK, here's the valve on the truck and here's the LQ-2 Valve I bought off ebay from Global Parts. You can see that it's not identical. If I line up existing hoses on new part, it appears that the truck has one port blocked (the 1/4" port on the new part) and the top port isn't threaded on the...
Hi Mike. I found this Air Brake Inversion Valve for $91 on Eastern site and can be found in the search typing com5167. is this the Q2 valve? Among other vehicles, it says it fits a M939 and mine's a M934. Seems like a reasonable fix to try if it will fit. Thoughts? Thanks! Frank
Thanks Mike. The leak happens with my foot on AND off the brake pedal, of course much slower with it off. The pressure drop is also quicker with the parking brake off without foot on brake pedal. Frank
I would like to hire someone to fix my M934 brakes that lose air pressure...(you can hear air being released in the intake). The truck is in Arlington, TX. Thanks.
...correction...I think the light wires are 650, GRD-N and GRD-C. I'm currently (no pun intended) thinking that 650 is hot, GRD-N is the neutral and GRD-C is ground. Any thoughts?
I am wiring my expansible van to be powered by external 115VAC household current via extension cords. According to the electrical schematic on the door, the 8 ceiling lights are each wired with 3 wires. They appear to be labeled on the schematic as 650, GRD-N and GRN-C. I am not an...
Greetings.
I just bought a 2010 Schutt M1101 trailer with LED clearance lights and bulb taillights. Since the LED's will run on 12v, is there such a thing as 12v bulbs that fit in the trailer taillights?
Also, the GovPlanet guy (very helpful, nice guy) said he had a buyer pick up his trailer...
Wow! Great info Smurph and your work sounds awesome! I will be digging into my Expando soon since I just sold my deuce project. (I'll be keeping the 5 ton.) At this point, I am looking at 110v HVAC units that I can simply place on the front "shelf". I will be using my van as my "booth" at a...
Thank you Sir! I will check that. (Please note that it is downshifting at higher speeds now, not lower. Any change to your troubleshooting suggestion?) Thanks again.
Greetings! I drive my A3 all the time with no problems. It's got 8200 miles on it. Two days ago, and still today, it's decided to downshift, from all gears, at higher than normal RPM's as you slow down. It's not a major problem but makes for a jerky stop. It's the change in tranny behavior...
Hello. I'm hoping to hear from folks who have successfully installed a replacement HVAC 110v "wall type" unit into the space in an expansible van where the original units were...thanks!
It looks like the AC unit was removed from the expansible van. (It should be located between the heaters in the front recessed area, correct?) Has anyone seen these for sale and are any available? Thank you.
Thanks for your tips. I don't see Humvee topics on this site and they need 2 Humvees, tan, and preferably with 50cal. They also need a couple/few interesting dune buggies and two Jeeps to buy...one, possibly a non-runner to blow up. They tell me that the Jeep deals have really low funding.
I have been in contact with a company filming an apocalyptic flic about a 2 hour drive south of Dallas, TX the end of JAN and early FEB. This is a low-budget project but you may have a chance to get your rig(s) in a made-for-TV-movie. They are interested in my tan deuce and 5-ton and need a...
What year were your Hawkers. Mine are 2008. I'll give it a try but may have to resort to new batteries to hit the road sooner. I'd like to receive some recommendations for Group 31 batteries that people like. Thanks.
