Greetings!
I have a 5-ton with NHC-250 in Arlington, Texas. I don't have time to work on it and have two systems needing service before I drive it 90 miles to my new house. Fuel: It drove well until sitting for 6 months and critters may have chewed a fuel line. It has a leak when running...
Full-time job limits the time I have to work on my M939 and, honestly, I'd rather work on the expansible back then systems up front. Right now I have fuel delivery and low power issues as well as compressed air leak issues. I'd sure like to find a mechanic local to Arlington Texas that could...
Thanks! I seem to lose pressure faster with the emergency brake on, then off, and definitely lose air pressure fast with foot brake depressed. I get air "honking" in the intake whenever I depress the foot brake and can hear the air escape into the intake when I hold it down. However, I...
Hi Heavy Iron Friends.
I haven't had time to really dig into this air leak problem, but wanted to write where I am with it and seek advise and direction. My M934 with ABS takes longer all the time to build-up air pressure but can be coaxed with revs to reach 120# on primary and secondary...
My avatar is the M35A3 that I used to have. My M934 Expansible has "modern" duals, NHC250, muffler, ABS, no turbo and no CTIS. In the deuce world, that would make it an A2. So, in the 5-ton world, it is an M934-A0?
Thanks for the tip on the manuals juanprado! To Tinstar, no offense taken. The "I think" in my message tied to the A2 configuration. I think it's an A2 because it has ABS, but does not have super singles or CTIS.
Hello. A minor, but noisy, new issue just popped up on my M934. Even after primary and secondary air pressures build well past 60psi, the air pressure light and buzzer won't cease like they always have. (Parking brake is off.) Thoughts? Thanks!
I bought the case of filters from Stonepicker and switched out the filter without a hitch and with no problems restarting after. The canister was lined with lots of crud and the filter was pre-historic. What prompted the filter replacement was that the engine performance had degraded to barely...
Just returned from the movie and totally enjoyed it, both because it was well done and because my tan deuce got a lot of play through the whole film. (Now for my little secret...I was SO glad to see that the front of my deuce was visible so often in the movie because the alphanumeric stenciling...
"Amerigeddon" has a website with the trailer and a listing of national theaters showing the film. Unrelated to the film, but directly related to the plot, is a terrific novel, "One Second After" that covers the same post-EMP event effects in exciting fictional telling...highly recommended reading!
A new movie, "Amerigeddon", directed by Chuck Norris' son Mike, premieres at select movie theaters across the Country on 5/12/16 and 5/13/16. (I think it will only be a one-day showing.) Preppers will love this movie about post-EMP events. Among other MV's, my tan M35A3 is in the movie and...
I'm just preparing to change the fuel filter on my M934 with Cummins NHC-250. The filter is in the driver's side wheel well and is the hard, canister-housing type. Filter is $60 and spin-on canister conversion kit, with filter, is $195. Which direction should I go? I guess that buying the...
