Until it is installed, Suggest you protect the exposed slip yoke polished surface with cardboard or similar to prevent any scratches or nicks. Don't want to get a dripper because of damaged seal surface.
Toe - been there, done that - more than once! I just laced her up real tight and kept going till the job was done. Almost had to cut the boot off to get out. Did you hear it bust? Did they give you the waterproof boot so you can take a shower?
"The resistance test is more accurate to test a stratified cell's electrolyte. When the electrolyte is stratified then it is primarily H02."
I do not believe the electrolyte stratifies except as I noted.
A flooded lead acid battery does not have HO2 in the electrolyte.
The electrolyte...
Stratified: beds or layers. The formation of liquid layers.
That does not happen to the electrolyte in a lead/acid wet cell battery. Unless the electrolyte is frozen, or cell is under heavy discharge, it is uniform throughout.
Ain't over yet Guv'nor has to sign it! Then the fat lady can sing.
The advantage to people in other states that may want to own and drive FMV's is this is a model they can use to change their state laws.

PM'd every Georgia SS member that I could find asking them to call Georgia state senators to support SB 392.
E-mailed Rules committee and then GA state senators in support of SB 392
Suggest checking out the amendment first.
In my state, they stick stuff that cannot pass on its own onto something popular.
Maybe Georgia is different. Perhaps the amendment has support and could grease the wheels.
Lobbyist should know.
As stated, phone calls are best. E-mails better than not doing anything.

Type out and send your first letter.

Suggest you guys in GA see anyone with a FMV who may not have contacted rules committee - give them copy of the revised contact list and ask them to do it ASAP. Better than a walk in the park.
On the national level, the way I understand it, they often attach some piece of **%*** that has no chance of passing on it's own to something they feel has support. Then the entire thing is voted on. If we look at US congress, because it is all or nothing, sometimes these amendments wind up...
I contacted them all last night, and am getting responses similar to this:

Thank you for taking time to contact...
Along with a good lobbyist, voters showing support means a lot.
Georgia has I believe 56 senators, but 180 representatives!
When the time comes, have to work 3 times as hard to properly contact all 180 house members and let them know a lot of voters support the bill.
When you have a couple of minutes, wouldn't hurt to have ANYONE who has enjoyed your FMV(s) e- mail appropriate Georgia senator in support of Georgia SB392. You can help your soon to be of voting age children. I am sure the senators will be happy to know the opinions of anyone who can vote to...
