Driving with a blown cyl head gasket?

I am going to take a different position. If it is not too bad, you may be able to drive it. When you refill cooling system, put in Bar's stop leak as directed. You will need more than one container - don't skimp. Let it heat up and pressurize the system, and leak should stop. Bar's is the...

Last night GL win and another project

Very nice - kinda looks like the box belongs there. Got a question. Back a bunch of posts, someone had a theory that if you go fast enough in a rainstorm, the rain goes over the windscreen, and you stay dry. Is it true?

    Jingling rear axle / driveshaft

I do not like whacking it because it must be done in place and damages the surface underneath.

    I imploded my winch.

King Machine - is it possible to fit a drum lock on the one you build?

    Jingling rear axle / driveshaft

Try cleaning it real good and using some JB weld to secure it.

New Here, Just started bringing my M-37 back from the dead.

[thumbzup] Never worked in the open like that. If you can get heavier cord - say 10/3 - some people temporarily use romex rated for outdoor use - voltage drop should be greatly reduced, allow larger tools to run.

    Rejuvenate 6TMF battery

Uh - Oh. No good! Should read at least mid 12's without charger. 11 means one cell is shorted. You can add distilled water if needed and try the charger again, but I would not count on that battery. Going to let you down someplace.

Seein as it is alone outdoors, glad you are in an area where no one messes with it between your visits. Round here, scrappers would have it right quick.

    Odometer going backwards!!!

Jimmy, this is new territory for me & probably I am wrong. If yours is like the one in previous post, seems you might be able to unscrew and swap the grease fitting and spedo connections. If that is possible, it would make the spedo shaft turn in the opposite direction.

Preamble to yet another WC brought back to life

Tire shop should be able to balance for you. Course, the best would be one of the old "on the car balancers" from 1950-60's - they balance the entire rotating mass - brake drum and all. If you have trouble getting them bal, let me know - I'll explain how we used to bring them in close. PIA, but...
