My understanding is, all commercial vehicles will need to comply with current smog standard by 2014. Fuel mileage is something else.
Ether way do you think a multi-fuel can make the standard? Or a CUCV for that matter?

Well the plan is.................... flat tow her home, 300 mi. round trip.
First. Prep the recovery vehicle, load necessary tools and all that. Need to install that new fuel tank, like it or not. And drew blood, what good recovery doesn't!
I'll post pics and the story as soon as I get er...
Pic 5 looks like the piece that goes on side behind door. I agree with NDT on pic 6.

Edit: My grandson pointed out my spelling error. (don't trust spell-check)
Can I start? Will you tell us about your avatar photo? It looks like a early M422 with the light frame windshield.

PS:I am a recovering M422A1 owner (I miss my Mite)
This is an early mule motor................Well two of them, next time I go out to the barn I'll check numbers.
Edit:I can't find any numbers on ether motor. These are the very early 4 cyl. the later 4cyl. have a fiberglass case around the carb and hour meter.

Know the rules, follow the rules. If you don't like the rules work to change them.
Having said that, let me add I once had 17 trucks. I now have 1 truck 1 driver(me).
Get the book, read the book. I use to carry the motor carrier rule book at all times.
