Hes right bout dings and dents, mines fine but I ireciently had to replace my PS pump. I went ahead and took those items out and it gives you so much more room for the small amount, less then 30 min, of time to make it very worthwhile as well as safer for the rad. you are pulling/installing.

I had the same problem as above with a starter from Advanced Auto, the nose was to short to let the gears mesh. I ended up going to the dealership to get the right one and believe it or not the were $100 cheaper than advanced, I paid $212 for it, I was shocked.

I had a cracked head on mine when I bought it, once I got the head off, it was no problem to see, cracked right between the valves.

dstang, there seems to be no place to put it, no connection point or anything, and like I said my charging system seems to be fine. cpf240, that woulda been my guess, if thats the case and its the tach signal for the diag. port, is that where I would pic up the signal for an electric tach?

I noticed this while changing my power steering pump, its bundled inwith the wires drom the DS alt. I dont see anyplace that it looks like it should connect to and everything works fine.

Replaced my power steering pump and found out why the old one failed, the PO had replaced on of the bolts holding the bracket to the block w a stud, it rubbed on the resevoure and wore a hole through it. I was also able to tighten the power steering belt more as I had more swing with the stud...

I just ordered a new pump for mine from advanced auto, $55, not bad, there is lso a $15 core, no big deal. Now I just gotta change it lol

I dont know why local PDs need this stuff in any capacity, they are CIVILIAN law enforcement and have no busisness having anything we cannot own.

Thanks for the replys guys! I think after doing some more reading I am going to go with the airless sprayer. I plan on using rapco paint and I hope this combination works out well.

I am a little unsure if the gauge I am looking at through LMC is a true ammeter, it has a small pic of a battery and a +nd - side, seems it shows if the battery is charging. Is this all an ammeter does as opposed to showing the actual draw?
