    Turbo

I know a guy who is selling a turbo, intake, air filter box, and piping for a sidewinder. Im trying to figure out what else I would need and how much it would cost to have a working turbo. I didn't see anything on ebay.

I've got a deal on one locally, just want to see if it is worth the money factoring in the manifolds.

    Turbo

Im looking at buying a banks sidewinder kit minus the manifolds. Does anyone know where I can grab manifolds and how much they go for? Also do 6.5 turbo manifolds work with the sidewinder?

    Tiny Tach is in!

I also have one next to the batt gauge and it works great. Anyone else who has this tach what does your hour meter read after 24Hours of runtime? Mine kinda went funky after that and now displays 3:54 and the numbers count up every few hours of runtime. Other than that it works great.

As for motor and trans work I haven't done anything to the motor except replaced the injector pump with another stock one. The trans was recently rebuilt and has an allison low stall diesel...

    New guy - lift question

I have 36" tires and 4" lift and the stock system works great with a lifted steering arm until I get really flexed out. Then I can turn all driver or all passenger and the tires stay relatively in the same position.

    TH400 filter change

I think tire barking may also be from the locker engaging. Mine shifts hard, but not that hard, just a solid bam into the next gear.

    Cucv rpm's at idle

I have a tach on mine and it idles between 640-660 when warmed up and in gear. Idles around 750 +/- 10 rpm out of gear and 850 when it is cold.

    axles

However, the m1008 ones and non-3/4 ton ones are not bolt in. The spring mounts need to be moved in.

    axles

Try craigslist. I got my d44 and 14 bolt and other than wheel bearings and some seals they work great.

It says USAISD on the back so I think it was US Army Intelligence School Detachment out of ft huachuca in AZ.

    What is this

This was on the front of my m1009 when I bought it. What is it mean and is there somewhere to get a replacement as this one has taken a beating on rocks when wheeling.
