What is the front crank seal that is easy to replace while I have the harmonic balancer off called? I am going to be replacing the balancer soon and want to do any preventative maintenance I can while I have it apart. A quick look on autozone's site left me wondering what exactly to search for...
If the pump cant pull fuel itself I think it is worth replacing as it is probably on its way out. Also if you do get it working look in the TM for testing the pump. I believe it should push like 1/2 pint or quart of fuel for 30 sec of crank and make 5 or 10psi.
If you have a compressor you could try cracking the lines right before the lift pump and using a rag or a tennis ball with a hole on both sides to seal the filler and then pressurize the tank to no more than about 5 psi and see if you can get fuel to come out at the lift pump. If you have fuel...
Try refilling your fuel filter so you have some fuel draining back to the lift pump. You could also try cranking it with no filter on to see if you can get fuel from the filter base.
When I changed mine it took about 10 seconds of cranking to re-prime. Then reattached the pink wire and it...
It absorbs vibrations in the crank cause by the engine running. It is directly behind the front crank pulley. When they fail the crank snaps or cracks from excessive vibration. Look at it when it is running. If it is not turning true then it is going bad, also look at the rubber layer in the...
Thanks for all the info. Does anyone know the part number for the front oil seal? Mine doesn't leak, but I guess if I am gonna change it I may as well do it when I do the balancer. Also is the stock balancer fine or is there something better. I know about the $400 fluid dampener one but I don't...
Whats required to remove and install one? I know you need a puller and installer, but do I need to change the front oil seal and does the radiator or anything need to be removed in order to change it?

I used to run 35's on my 10 bolt and go wheelin about once a month. I never got heavy on the throttle and they did fine. The main way to kill them is to get the tire bouncing or spinning and then finding traction cause that will shock load them and wipe them out quick.
I take it your hubs are unlocked? check the leaf spring shackles and mounts. Also maybe the bumper for looseness. I broke the bumper mounts by the D ring and it make some weird squeaking sounds at random times when I was driving.
That used to be me! Started a 4 wheeling club at my school my senior year so I could bring it into the center of school during lunch for the club fair haha. I did park it all the way up on the ramp, but didnt get any pics after moving it.
I noticed every once in a while when I panic stopped my warning light would come on on the dash for a second and then go off. Recently I changed the front brake lines to longer lines off a 92 2wd chevy. They are brand new, but about 4" longer. Now when I hit the brakes hard but not to the floor...
