I don’t think an alternator would fit in that location. I had to tip the ac compressor at an angle to make the clearance needed. and the charge air tube has just enough clearance after some modification.

I’m working on an alternative to the stock Lmtv ac compressor mount and location. Also a different way to mount the ac condenser.. I don’t know how it will work but willing to try something different. A few photos for fun.

Hi, there shouldn’t be any problem getting the hub kits to New England, I think shipping would still be 50.00 for the 4x4 and 60.00 for the 6x6. He may have been referring to my offer to install a set for free labor if you can get the truck to North east Indiana. One set only.

The outer bolts are 3/8” 16. NC. Be very careful with a tap, you don’t want to break it. Go slow take your time.

Hi Chucky. Yes the hub is designed to allow the axle to be removed just like before. Remove 4 Allen’s in the aluminium cap remove cap, the axle will pull thru.

I have several sets going to customers with that combination. Keep watching I’m sure they will post the results. custom end caps , no not at this time. :)

You could easily adjust the wheel bearing while you’re there. I would jack the tire up that you’re working on.

I think you’re still misunderstanding what the reduction is and how the mod works. The reduction 2/1 is placed between the axle and the wheel hub. We remove the reduction and make the hub spin the same speed as the axle. No heat is generated with this coupling of components. With the...

Hi Chucky, there is a drain/fill hole on the adapter plates. You can fill just like a stock reduction unit.
