I'm done dealing with GP. I've had problems in the past and thought it was just part of the process but now its too much. I bought a civilian truck from the auction, paid, and have made several attempts to schedule a time to pick the item up and can't seen to get a call back. 1st number they...
Over the past few years I have had a handful of batteries spontaneously short internally leaving them completely dead. This has happened in my 5 ton, two of my cars and my pickup. I use 2 batteries in the 5 ton now but I had a spare battery that wasn't hooked up, and when one of the batteries...
Thanks. That's one of the reasons I attempted this, because I knew I could easily go back to the stock 8 degrees. To be honest I cannot remember which way I rotated the motor. I should have been more careful but I was in a rush. Looking back, I had a 50/50 shot of being correct. lol
I can't...
I took my 931A2 out for a drive today for the 1st time after some recent mods. I have the pre boost screw turned out 1 turn, the gov springs tightened 3 clicks and yesterday I advanced the IP timing to 14 degrees. The way I advanced the pump was probably not the correct way. I installed the...
bdstick, I know a mobile mechanic that works in the high desert that can help if you feel you need the help. He's $85 but worth every penny. Let me know if you want him phone number.
I just got done replacing all my tires and the only way I could get the nuts off was with a O/A torch and a 3/4 impact. I soaked them in PB blaster and used a rosebud on the torch. Without the torch they wouldnt have come off.
I've owned a M35A3 and now a M931A2. The biggest reason I sold the A3 was the slow top speed even with 395's and the sloppy air steering. Other than that I loved the truck which was practically new. I like the 5 ton but many of the repairs and maintenance are a 2 person job as most of the parts...
I am still wanting to increase the injection timing and was looking through ebay for misc parts. There are several MW pumps for sale and they all have a tapered shaft with a woodruff key. I was under the impression the tapered shaft was the only thing securing the pump gear to the pump shaft. If...
I mounted up 8 16.00R20's this weekend. I had all the wheels, tires and beadlocks pressure washers and ready to go. I got down to 27 min a tire but in this video it took my 32min total. I was having a heck of a time with the beadlock. The video might be boring to most of you but all my friends...
Check to make sure the in and out hoses are going to the correct port on the shutterstat body. Cast or machined into the body it will say IN and OUT. The hose going from the shutterstat the fan is the OUT.
It was raining the other day and I was home sick cruising the internet. I looked for a better spin on fuel filter for the secondary filter mounted on the engine because its only a 14 micron. I couldn't find any info so I searched the wix filter website for any close matches.
I JUST changed my...
The Cat 3116 in the M35A3 doesnt have a injection pump, only a transfer pump which is low pressure. The style injection is HEUI and compresses the fuel at the injector.
