    jumpin a deuce

Where angels fear to tread. Wow. At least the guy stole for a purpose right?.....I am almost speechless over this one. I'm just sitting here shaking my head. Do we have a smiley for that? On another note I know a guy that is stationed at Tinker. I haven't heard from him in a while so I am...

Trailer bed recovery or Icing conditions may exist

More pics of the trip home. Arround Ellis, Kansas there is a big wind generation farm and we could not see any of the wind mills other than the bases and a blade moving moving out of the mist down toward the ground and back up into the soup. That was freaky. Before Colby, Kansas it started to...

Trailer bed recovery or Icing conditions may exist

We left for Kansas on the 21st. It was decent weather. Cold but sunny and clear. The 22nd and the trip home was a totally different story.

    jumpin a deuce

As we all know #### rolls downhill. I am sure once people higher on the totem pole found out what happened the world of #### those boys were in was pretty deep. Of course what they did was dumb. I am guilty of being young once and doing similarly dumb things. Who am I foolin'? I still do dumb...

Need some IP advice on M35A1

Sounds like a ton of fun. I don't think I am a value add to this discussion other than I am working on obtaining a parts truck so i can R&R parts like that while I am sending the original out to be rebuilt. I have found I am a jack of lots of trades and an expert at none. Rebuilding a HH while...

    A Deuce with some questions.

After reviewing the photos I agree that the pipes seem to be too evenly spaced to be a repair. They seem to have an intended purpose. I like the latrine outlet pipe theory. Seriously though it would be interesting to know what the "field instalation" was.

    jumpin a deuce

I have seen the vid several times also. It is my understanding that the soldiers limped the A3 back to base and inadvertently left their camara in the truck which another soldier found, reviewed the footage, passed that on to their superiors and the perverbial hammer came down.......Like you all...

    Deuce Tire Chains

I have done a little chaining myself. My Pop on the other hand has done alot of it on his M-37. Dad tells me stories of having to chain up the steering axle and driving over scrub oak in 2 feet of snow while hunting bear in the Uncompagre Range. Chains are awesome but you are limited on your top...

    block heater

Tried starting my truck on Wednesday afternoon so I could haul some hay to the cows. It was 10 degrees, snowing and blowing. The truck went rrr....rrrrr....r. That was it. It usually fires right up. I was worried. I put my booster/charger on and it fired up on the second try. I think I am in the...

    M35a2 V.S. my house

He needed a monbackman......mon back.....plenty of room.....mon back. I can't smack talk. I just park my deuce by noise and feel. I start backing up and wait for the sound of something crumpling or I feel a jolt.......Really though I almost did this last summer. I just got the truck and was...

Now lets see your truck in the snow

I hear you about the cough, cough Centennial. One of the largest city incorporations in history that no one knows about. Too bad you don't live here anymore but you gotta do what you gotta do. It is amazing how hard the snow can get up high. But when you break through the crust it gets soft...

    Dec 19 medical run

What a great story. This is the side of all of us that most people don't see and really don't understand. Not only is it a good feeling but it is exciting to see what the deuce will do. A big thumbs up to you brother. I don't care who you are and where you are from, if you get 24 inches of...

More jobs for the Deuce/The last Roundup

We were forced to sell the creek. We had some debts we needed to pay that they know all about somehow AND since there is so much development around us the creek runs more and more water in it all the time (sewer plant effluent) creating major bank erosion and down cutting. There is a "stream...

Now lets see your truck in the snow

Cool pics. And a cool job. I say job cause I know how hard that is. There are some trails that we traditionally open in the spring that require building the "train track" so you don't fall off the trail...... It looks like you have things well in hand but if you need help with that job let me...

More jobs for the Deuce/The last Roundup

Thank you. We will make it. Things just suck right now. It's nothing the family has not gone through before. The problem is this is the homeplace for us. This is where I learned how to drive. This where I learned how to shoot. This where I learned how to hunt. When I walk around the place I know...

More jobs for the Deuce/The last Roundup

I am sorry again for being upset about this. Thank you all for your understanding. We have been in this valley since 1896. This farm is the last family farm we have left in the valley. In fact we are the only farmers left here. You have to go 10 miles up the valley before you run into another...
