I was looking around online last night, just seeing what parts or whole units are available and I came across an auto start kit that I haven't seen before. I'm not sure if the forum rules allow a link to be posted, but just search "MEP remote starter kit" on a popular auction website.

I just wanted to update, I've installed both filters mentioned above and everything is working well. As I saw in the drawing for the filter, the gasket was a slightly smaller diameter than what was on there but the flat flange for the gasket seat is very wide allowing a fairly large range of...
I ended up ordering the Cim-Tek filter that I referenced above to swap out with the final filter before the IP. It has a 2 micron rating, it is water separating and it is a couple of inches longer than the NAPA filter I have on there now. I checked all the dimensions last night and it should...
Thanks for the heads up! If I end up buying a new adapter instead of using mine and finding a filter to fit it I'll probably buy from you. That is a great deal.
I found this one made by champion (Fram): http://www.champlabs.com/sites/champlabs.com/files/man_up/CompMatrix.pdf
Available for purchase here: https://store.rstenstrom.com/product.php?productid=16399
40502P- 1-12 thread and 2 micron filter
This one is not a water separating filter. Although...
That looks like a great set up. Although I would have to replace the bases on mine since those are listed as 1-14 thread, which I'm trying to avoid doing.

From what I can find...
Yes, the NAPA and Fram part numbers listed that are for the OEM set up are listed at 10 micron. I haven't been able to find the specs yet for the Fram part number listed. Although the Fram part is listed as a secondary filter, so it may in fact be a smaller micron rating. This is all good...
I bought my 003 back in the spring and I've just recently finished up the transfer switch and a few other projects. I'll eventually post up some pics of that.
I have been getting an aux fuel supply set up and I've been getting a little more familiar with the fuel system. I have a couple of...
Turns out to be a false alarm. My kill-a-watt meter looks like it has gone bad. It is also reading 190V at the house too! I put my regular DMM on it and it is reading just fine on the lugs as well at the receptacle. I'm glad I looked into it though, I found that in the distribution box a...
I would assume the breaker would only trip if too large of a load was placed on it, they aren't voltage dependent. I'm going to take a closer look this weekend, I'm sure it just across the two hot 120 lines I stead of to ground.
Here she is!
As well as a new in the crate ASK...
It runs great, I just need to look into one minor thing. The convenience receptacles are putting out 240 while all of the output lugs appear to be correct. I'm guessing it is wired to the two hot 120V leads instead of to neutral.
Thanks for the info, exactly what I was looking for. I have a set of 700lb capacity 8" casters with a polyurethane outer layer, two swivel, two fixed with brakes. I'm taking a 2x8 and cutting it to the with of the unit (32"), and mounting casters to the board ahead of time and drilling the holes...
Thanks for the fast reply. I don't think I explained it well enough, here is a pic of the tie down holes I'm talking about, maybe I'm calling them by the wrong name. I need to know the diameter and spacing relative to each other.
I'm picking up a gen set next weekend. I forgot to measure two things while I was looking at it that I need to know before next weekend. I'm putting a set of casters on it before it is loaded into the trailer so I can move it once I get it home and I want to have everything ready to bolt on...
I wanted to post to say hi to everyone. I've been lurking on the forums for a while reading up on gen sets specifically. I'm going to be picking up a MEP-003A next weekend! This forum has been a wealth of information!
