Come on aboard! Are the trucks you are talking about the ones parked near Buckley, MI ? I have looked at those several times myself. I live in the "Thumb" with my M1009A3, M207 and no wife. Ditched her overboard a couple years back
when she staged a mutiny...
I was feeling okay about my wheel hubs, but after reading more post I am worried again.
So if the hubs are "Warm" I am okay? But if they are "Hot" I have a problem.
Right?
I drove my deuce about 140 miles roundtrip yesterday, and when I parked it I found that the rear wheel axle hubs were very warm. They were not "hot" and I
did not think to get out my infrared temperature gauge I got for XMAS and get a
good temperature reading.
I don't know if this is normal...
P.S. If you are worried, have the tire shop put a tube in it. We run 395x20s on my mud racing
truck with tubes and 15 pounds of pressure, and no worries about pinholes or small cuts.....:driver:
My M207 was converted to a Dump by the previous owner using a 10 yard dumpbox from a Mack Truck. Everyone thinks it is an original factory setup when they see it. I am going to take it off of the frame though and convert the M207 to a "Bobbed 4x4" with 395x20 tires....
