Thats really cool. I saw Internationals new concept for their hummer replacement. It lookse nice. This hummer looks a little odd with the taller nose. i guess they went with a vertical radiator so not have any problems. Reminds me kinda of a school bus. Still very cool. Can not wait to...
For show purposes and not to mess with the engine at all you can run lines from a propane tank into the stacks and hide an ignitor. Then just flip the switch and adjust the value of the propane with the throttle.
I remember reading that the gas engines with the flamethrowers puts alot of wear...
I know I sure would not mind having one but I am trying to save as much as I can for my 1st house and getting married within the next decade  I know inmy area the cheapest one I saw was $26k so these are much better deal. Good luck
I will say I notice that the seat mount holes are a little close togethor. It seems the weight does not get to distribute the weight well. For my 79 blazer I cut some stripes of 1/8" thich steel and drilled out the seat mounts holes and put the seat on it then the floor. Helps to spread the...
sorry typo on the 5 lug. i meant six lug. I thought I read they had a 3 spd but I rechecked and it is a T-98 4speed so sorry about that. I am still learning about deuce and know nothing of their trannys. i do like the Herculies engines, but do not know a ton about them either. Thanks for...
I have been reading up on these trucks and was trying to think of a very capable set up with these things ( I know they already very capable).
1. I notice they are 56lug hubs and they are odd size for different rims selection. Are these axle set up to swap different hubs from other Dana 60 and...
Since there is so many NC members here does anyone have a m715 I can look at up close to get some ideas? I am still on the fence on what I wants and is the best for me. I completely enjoy the idea of the Iltis but really need to wait 2 more ears to make importing them here much easier. M1009...
Tell everyone that my blazer is for sale now. I have also looked at the m715 as a vehicle option. I am concern how comfortable I would be in the cab and the fact that it is only 9" shorter than a suburban makes me worry about the size driving it around. Good luck here and m715zone is...
That is a good point and I have heard there have been problems with the 1/2 tons and 6bt. But I know a friend of mine with the 1 ton set up and 6 bt and no problems at all. He did put a small lift to just to make sure of clearence and spring sag issues. No bump problems at all.
No complaints here. Looks great. I would not tell it was your 1st time. One thing about that green it sure does show all the boo boos like the little one on your hood. Very good job.

There is a guy in Canada that has one for sale 80% togethor but all the parts are there. I just do not know how much...
Thanks for the info. I was wondeirng if I could put a cut off switch to 1 of the leads and the switch would act as a 12v or 24 volt jump?
Also I have not seen the leads at all or a plug at least the male part plug to make my own jumper wires? Any visuals out there?
Thanks nice vw collection. i think the one on samba is super nice but way out of my price range and on the other side of the country. i tihnk I am going to have to go with a m1009 and hope some day I can get one. Thanks for sharing
Are you doing the work or was you plan on having someone do the work?
I know I have seen motors in good condition pretty cheap and the Tcase as well. If you are wanting to do the work yourself and do not mind the down time to do the work it should not be bad. I can only compare it to the gas...
I know working for the DOT we had the master cut off switches for the battery. This help to prevent any power drains on the system along with theft problems. An addition ignition switch is an idea as well. You couuld always do like the police and build you a big boot like they give to...
I was just curious since the site had sections for Ebay and GL. Is there any thoughts about a criagslist section under maybe the ebay area. i know that is a big source for me to track down several military vehicles. Just an Idea and not wanting to speak out of place. Thanks
Hey as far as m1009 locating I have seen several in NY and NJ that about as close to Maine as I have seen. Might have to try local adds and craigslist to find your vehicle. Good luck and thanks for your service.
