What is so special about carc paint? I am about to strip and prime my deuce this week and IM wanting to know if i should invest in carc and why.

Anyone got a hemat trailer for sale? GL has them but they are all in the Dakotas. I am new to deuces so i wouldnt dare try that trip in mine.

I read your post wrong. Sorry sir. Lol. Would i be running the champion compressor alone or in tandem with air.from the glad hand on the deuce? My father (the sarge) donated the safety gear. No silica though. I was going to use soda. Wreckerman----i will surely be looking out for those items...

Thank you guys. Looking at the shop compressors with 15 cfm. Seeing as how i just dropped 2 grand on parts for my deuce and want to spend about 2 more grand on wheel and tire upgrades, i guess i better rent a blaster compressor combo. You guys saved me some frustration. :) thanks again.

7 cfm. Is more than the portable shop compressors I've been looking at. I wonder if doubling up my air tanks would make it work for at least a soda blaster and spray paint gun.

Yeah, i always seem to go overboard with the spending on things i love (according to the wife). I think of it like this, my deuce was made in 1967. This is a preemptive strike against break downs (in case the economy goes in the toilet and i cant afford it later). But if you think this is bad...

Looks good sir. Mine may be a really short bed though. IM planning on not just crew cabbing her but relocating the truly tank to between the crew cab and bed(one with twice the capacity).

I was going to take the bed she has and do a cut down to save money. Plus i don't like the cut out on m105 beds.
