Checked bobbing posts till i was physically tired and haven't seen this yet. Has anyone tied to use the large plates between deuce RANDOMS as a bolting point for mounting m105 leaf springs with frame attached? The crescent shaped leaf stops on the m105 frames measure out to be able to stradle...
All i did was stare at her. I wanted to take her tandoms off and single her out. But i lack the lifting ability to remove my m105's bed so as to scavenge the trailers leaf springs. Sigh...
I unbolted it from that piece and gave it a whack before getting on here for.advice. LOL. I guess i didn't assert myself enough on the lug. I will try again. :)
Hey guys,
I searched the TM's and didnt find what i was looking for. So, here goes: Does anyone have the spec's on the step behind the bumper/on either side of the winch for canadian m35a2c's? I want to get some fabbed for my deuce.
That's it Goldneagle! they must be M52's because they look just like your pic. I swear i wish i had the money to buy them from him. I have never seen an interior in such good shape for a military truck as his firetruck one it.
Well they were 2.5 ton rated and had the big ugly air collection barrels on the passenger side of the nose and 5 speed. And they aren't for scrap. He bought them a while back and have them sitting in what looks like a motley collection of vehicles. It looks like he wants to keep them.
I was at the Circle K scrap yard (in calera, alabama) today and the owner had to show me his green steel after i drove up in mine. He has two M35a3 that look in dang good shape. One is camo with no top that he says runs very great (its a fifth wheel deuce). And the other is a red fire department...
My wife just had her third surgery in a years time. looks like i may need to sell my deuce bed or scrap it. This saddens me but "Them's the grits." Any clue how much a deuce bed would be worth to a scrap yard or would i get more for it by selling it?
Thanks for the input,
Cam h.
Changed the oil and put on my spin on oil filter adapters. Did a walk around and found that there is fresh wet stains on the inside of three rims. Looks like i have some repairs to do. :(
