    if possible check against a gauge thats known to read correctly, and the operating temp. should stay between 180- 190

    stroll around you never know what you may fit in the back of that deuce for the ride home, it would be a shame to not take anything home in the bed of that new truck

    WD40 Cure???

    wd-40 is more of a solvent than a lubricant, one other thing to remember about wd-40 is that it attacks loctite thread lockers and sealers.

    I thought mine would get better, but it didn't. But after I went through my brakes they work so well, it was well worth it. Definetly monitor the fluid, mine went from a little to a lot in a hurry

    RE: Duece looking deuces are cheaper to maintain than some pick-up trucks, I have a 1c turbo, love the whistle. Like Houdel says stock motors do not need a pyro, just obey the 5 minute shut down rule to protect your turbo.I have done maintenence outside before I got my building, a cheap blue...

    yes a bottle jack is preferred fits in tool box nicely and is cheap, also a budd wheel socket is good, the mil socket broke on me the first time I used it.WD-40 or something similar for frozen nuts/bolts and the always corroded electrical connectors. These are the things I needed on my trip...

    does look loke fun, we are so short of rain I don't think the river in front of the house is that deep I don't have anyone locally with a deuce or anything else that could help if I get in trouble, so I need to play it safe anyhow.

    yeah go for the 10 gal tank, I'm currently in the process of mounting one under the bed of my deuce to run air tools while away from home, and the bigger air tools are more air hungry than I thought and currently have a 5 gal I no longer need
