After 16 hours worth of trip we made it home last night kind of late. Fortunately the entire t r in was very uneventful. The truck made it home without any problems. Now it's time to start going through all the systems and change all the filters and fluids so I know exactly what I have.

only a week late....
Ok, once again, I am scheduled to leave to go pick up my 1st deuce.5 tomorrow morning. I have waited until "T minus 12 hours" to say anything in case it got canceled again, unlikely but not impossible still. Plan on leaving out around 6:30 am for our 5 hour drive north...
Best laid plans....... FAIL!
Well, all of my excitement was for nothing. I was supposed to be on the road headed North at this very moment. As of yesterday about 8am everything fell apart. My buddy with the truck and trailer that has been scheduled for two weeks, unexpectedly had to fly to...
selling prices... some are sooo high?
I know there are a lot of guys here that have had multiple M35A2 trucks, guys that buy and sell them with some regularity. I have been perusing the classifides and ebay and some of the other sites looking at trucks. (I think I am trying to justify the $...

Thanks,
Joe

This morning I had a cousin an one of his friends that is a military mechanic go look at a deuce.5 for me. I then spoke with the owner and made a deal to get my 1st deuce.5 next Saturday.
I know, it's not really mine yet, but the deal has been made and all that is left to do is drive 10 hours...
I just did a search on the forum here, I was unable to see the info I am looking for. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to decipher the bumper markings on the truck I am buying? All the search results was everyone telling another member what his markings was. I am wondering if there is a...
I will trailer it home the 500 miles, was going to drive it and thank God I had a buddy offer up his truck and trailer. I think that will be a lot better than driving it that far.
-Current owner says it has had only diesel since the referb 4 years ago.
-All the tires are really good, basically...
I have had the itch for one on these beast for about a year, about 6 months ago I started looking at them to see what was out there. In the last month I have probably looked at 6-8 of them. I have found one about 500 miles away that I believe to be the one that will come home with me next...
