Thanks, I'll try them, but first I need to get a sample for them to copy. My trailer did not come with plates and the photos in the trailer manual are pretty poor.

I keep checking Ebay, but no luck. I was hoping there was another source.
Seems like it might be a good business to set up. Maybe a graphic artist type person could start one. It seems like they would be busy..........

I'm trying to find the M101A1 trailer data plates without much luck. There has been an order with Dave Kelone for months without success (or any contact or communication).
Is there any other possible sources for these data plates? Vintage, Midwest and Saturn are out of stock.

I got my first MV (a civilianized M-37) in the early 1970's. I had just gotten out of Uncle Sam's Daycare (Army - I was in '68 to '71). It was exactly what I thought a truck should be - let function determine form.
It got sold in the mid 70's and I didn't have a truck for few years. Then on...
As someone here wisely said, "It's not what you pay for it; it's what you put into it".
Get the manuals first. Go look at the PS magazine articles online. Read a lot. Once you understand the concepts behind the engineering it will be a lot easier and more understandable.
Good luck, and...
Nice Truck! The body looks very straight and rust free. What does the inside and under the hood look like?
Love the color! If it had black fenders and running boards, with the black cab top it would be a perfect "gentleman farmer" truck!
Congratulations! [thumbzup]

I can't believe people were ripping om you for this. Sorry for the behavior of the rude a$$holes.
Thanks for fixing it so quickly.
You have my sympathies and support. [thumbzup]
Just a thought for you to consider - if you keep it stock, you can always rely on the manuals to bail your ass out (well, almost always).
I've learned that it makes life simpler.
Do the first one stock. You'll learn a lot and learn the "engineering theory" behind the truck.
After...
Well, it's reassuring to know that there appears to be the proper ratio of supervision to actual workers on this project. You can never have too many layers of supervision.
I'm glad to see the cat made it safely out of the tree.
Good to see the cat is around to supervise you and make sure you put this M-37 back together correctly. That cat is going to need a nice warm hood to sleep on, so pay attention to what you are doing.
Thanks, OPCOM!
I'm new to HAM radio, and really "innocent" (ignorant) regarding green radios. I've gotten my general license so I can play with them, but I don't want to be needlessly offending or aggravating people either.
The only place I'll probably play with these radios is at...
I'm trying to restore / install & eventually operate the GRC series (GRC-3, -5 & -7) systems in my M-42.
So what happens when I fire up my RT-66, RT-67 & RT-68? Do the heavens open and the FCC gods of vengeance and retribution descend to blast me from the face of the planet with their lighting...
Hi All,
Does anyone know what wiring harness this is for the M-37? I found it in my storage unit (it is new, sealed in the box) and don't want to open it if I don't have to.
Any help in ID'ing this would be greatly appreciated. I've checked Google, but my Google-fu is weak.
Thanks,

Sad ending to a great story.
My wife has endured my M-42 for 32 years. She hates it, but she puts up with it. The nicest thing she has ever said about it is: "I HATE that G******ed, F******g truck."
I just remind her that I've had "that truck" longer than we've been married and that when you...
There are some I'd be interested in. If you decide to do this, I'd like to suggest a few. The common ones (Rigging, Survival, Evasion and Escape, etc.) are already being done. Some of the more hard to find TM's and TO's would be nice though.

Welcome, yeadon!
This is certainly the place to indulge your addiction to big green military trucks!
I'm just a few miles south of you in the Bothell / Kenmore / Woodinville area. Nice to see more people in the North end of Puget Sound!
