Power just went out so I started up the generator. Last time I requested a call back when power was restored the utility company didn't call for 8 hours after I had power back on so that method is unreliable at best.
What method are some of you using?
I thought I could use a no contact...
My wife was the driving force behind us getting a generator. Well, her and hurricane Hermine. She worked in emergency management for over 20 years. She went along with the idea of the mep and thinks I got a steal on it. I am right dead on 2 grand for everything hooked up. We even got to use it...
Could have been the 5 kw cables were all defective and pulled from the shelves?
I remember working at a Harley Davidson dealer back around 1975. A lot of the Sportster models were coming back burning oil and smoking before they got out of their 90 day or 3000 mile warranty. Turned out all the...
I will kick this to the top with an image of my digital meter conversion. Not the prettiest conversion but it's functional. The voltage reading on the green meter on the right is a little low but the hertz was dead on with my Fluke meter so that is what I needed there. The line voltage/current...
It does not have one but the gun is aluminum so it's shouldn't cause any sparks. No different from using the guns at the gas station.
I was hoping it was an auto shutoff nozzle but it isn't. I submerged it in fuel while filling and it just kept pumping. When I released the handle it didn't stop...
Just thought I would share. I bought this cheap 12V Diesel transfer pump off that auction site. I badgered the seller a little since they had a "make offer" button but at the end of the day I only paid a couple dollars less than the asking price. My cost ended up $67 shipped. Several sellers...
Somewhere in all this one of you that has been affected is going to have to let the corporate office know what is going on. Otherwise it will never get corrected.
I'm curious. Did you attempt to settle through GL or just go through PP? They usually send a message to seller and require 10 days at least before doing a charge back. It wouldn't surprise me if it went that route and GL just didn't respond but I was wondering how it went down.
It sounds to me like this is all due to one individual mismanaging the assets. I imagine they just need ti fire that person and get proper management in there.
Something else I do when anticipating a purchase online is saving the web page to my hard drive. That way I can refer back to the information provided that I based my decision on.
Just performed my 3rd monthly test and all went well. Ran it for two hours with a 40 amp load and it purred like a kitten. Checked oil and coolant levels before and after and frequently looked at the gauges and meters as the test ran.
I did commit some operational errors but I don't think they...
Just read this little footnote on one of their listings at another location.
"Information contained in the Item Manifest is third-party information that has been provided by an additional source. This information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed by Government Liquidation. It is not...
The ground rod, if it has one, would be bolted up out of site on the skid runner. Mine had them and I didn't find them till I already rigged up a copper rod.
