Not sure if it is true but a local diesel mechanic told me to avoid power source additives for 6.2s, he claimed that it strips the lubricity out of the fuel, I only run stanadyne or howes additive now.

If the coolant temperature at rear cylinders is 190-195 there would be no reason to do the bypass upgrade,the rear cylinders run much higher than the temperature gauge and thermostat on front of the motor.
Found my vacuum pump to be pulling only 8 lbs, installed spare pump in 10 minutes, all is well. 1st to 2nd at 15 mph 2nd to 3rd at 28mph partial throttle.
Thanks, informative, not sure if I believe the power increase with the fuel additive. The dyno test I want to see is a 6.2 with stock exhaust vs a 6.2 with Stan's headers!
Do as doghead stated above, definitely do the doghead relay upgrade. And keep track of battery voltage. I also always have a spare 24v dd starter on hand.
