    Snatch Blocks

Ooops, the Warn ones may not allow big enough cable. 7/16 and smaller.

I like these from WARN: http://www.gowarn.com/heavy-duty-snatch-blocks.asp But another company actually builds it.

Identify my winch! Is it big enough?

Inside the gearbox is the worm gear. It freaked me out, it's made out of bronze or something! Kinda freaky to see that big of a gear in bronze. I was having trouble installing the end seals. I didn't have any tubing that was the right size to pound them in with. Then I remembered shooting at a...

Identify my winch! Is it big enough?

I didn't pull it all the way down since most of it seems operational. Basically just the input. It's big, and heavy.

Identify my winch! Is it big enough?

OK, kinda figured it out a little. The stamp reads: MU5A 104899 Some of the numbers make sense, others don't. It is a Braden MU5 winch. I really have no idea what it's rated for. Good news, even NAPA has the seals, so I put those in. Braden also still sells a gasket and seal kit (PN 62840)...

What's the correct deuce PTO look like?

Thanks Tom. Here is another I found. Looks like it has dual outputs and three shift rail boots. Do these function independently? Like can you turn the front off and only run the rear one, or vise-versa? Any other info?

What's the correct deuce PTO look like?

Yeah, I'm eyballin' that PTO of yours, if you still even have it (Inner voice: please say no, please say no...). Routing the shaft to the front would be a little work but I'm thinkin' 'bout it. gringeltaube: Hey, buddy, pal, super pal...looks like you got a deuce PTO that's not in a...

What's the correct deuce PTO look like?

The 5-ton (is this what is pictured above?) has what seems to be a helical cut gear (angled teeth) on the input. These ones I'm looking at do not.

What's the correct deuce PTO look like?

I found a guy that has a few that he claims are for an M35. Anybody got pics of the deuce PTO or some idea on identifying them? Is this one?

    Transfer Case PTO

So as long as I have your attention, help me out here. The PTO that mounts to the tranny will not change speed as you shift gears with the t-case in neutral but it will go into reverse via the tranny. If so, are there two-speed tranny-mounted PTOs available?

    Transfer Case PTO

Oh, I get it! Saw your pics here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=5814&highlight=pto My truck actually started life as a water pumper and was converted to a cargo later. I was hoping the PTO was still on the t-case. Of course it's not. But I have the...

    Transfer Case PTO

OK, so where exactly on the transfer case does this bolt to. I'm familiar with the small Jeep stuff but don't really see anywhere on my Deuce t-case for this to go. Got pics of it on or at least can ya give me an idea? I am assuming it can be used without the truck moving under it's own power...

Found a bunch of winches...big ones!

Yep...that's what it looked like. Looked like the same guy came in and started bidding the same amount on each one. Some sold way lower, others did not close on time. If it said it closes at 6:00PM Eastern why do they keep some (most) of them open a little longer (up to 30 min). It seemed like...
