It's still 24v. I disconnected the batteries, test with multimeter and one is 12.3 and the other 12.5.

I imagine the guy I bought it from uses these message boards. Wouldn't be too surprised. I get the feeling he buys and resells lots of these. He said he has a M101A trailer and you can partly see the red vintage military fire truck in his driveway he's also selling.
