FYI, don't expect the cable to be cheap. I paid almost $150 for 50' of 1/0 at vendor price. DIY may not be the cheapest route if you can find a set from a member or eBay.
I'm gonna revive this thread for a bit. I have two fuel leaks in flame heater setup on my M35 and I don't really need it in southern NM, so it's gone for now. I may add an ether shot later. I need to remove the tee on the injector line so my question is, is that 1/4" clear poly fuel line?

Tim's kit is the cat's behind and the price is definitely right. It was in the mail first thing Monday and I was able to get my M35 out on the sand thanks to him. It puts out a nice steady 27.5 volts.
They don't drain down(half the reason for using 'em) so you just get a handful of paper towels and catch the oil as soon as you spin the filter off. You might have a small amount of oil that you'll need to wipe up. Easy enough to do and well worth it.
I was going to pick up an oil extractor...
Nevermind the rubber gasket. I picked up another 5119 gasket at NAPA and replaced the the one I'd installed the day before and torqued it about to about 60lbs. Everything is fine....go figure.
Thanks to JT for the good advice.
I installed my the spin-ons on my M109 yesterday and the rear is weeping a bit even after I overtorqued them a bit. I didn't have any issues when I installed 'em on my M35. I was thinking of getting the rubber gaskets to compensate for the imperfections on the block. Anybody know the NAPA...
I just pulled the Prestolite out my wife's M35 yesterday and took it down to a place here in town to see if they could do a rebuild. He said he couldn't but he was nice enough to call around and found me rebuild in GA for the low, low price of $1200.
Thanks for the innovation Tim. You've got...
Check with Farmers. I have both deuces on a commercial policy for 3 and change a year each. The five ton may be a different animal. I think it's based on GVWR.
Great idea! People were asking me last year where I'd gotten mine. I guess the only taker was Mark. Did you ever hear from him again? We're gonna start camping at the end of April. Let me know when you're gonna be up there and I'll make sure there's Bud in the cooler.
That's usually their goal if it's a suicide attack.
I'm not giving away the farm by saying that there are installations that have individual targets of strategic or psychological value. If the FBI or other IC agency happened across information that lead them to believe that surplus MVs were...
I agree Clinto. Money talks, bulls**t walks.
I don't know if anyone's brought this up, but has anyone considered that there might have been a credible threat from a group using surplus MVs to gain access to an installation?
I have State Farm and pay $300 and change for liability and comprehensive. Our agent asked a couple times if I wanted collision, but I explained that if someone were to hit me it's gonna be their problem. My trucks spend a majority of their time off-road anyway.
I second that. I'll see what happens with the spin-ons. I was thinking of laying some foil around the base to catch any that runs out. I used to do that to keep the oil off my headers on my sportbike.
