Shane, looks great! If you don't go with the poly tanks from an RV, you may want to consider picking up a smaller IBC. My RV only has a 25 gallon fresh tank so I think I'm going to pick up a new(CLEAN, no pesticides, distillates, etc.) IBC that I can put in the 109 or 101 for longer trips...
Anyone have pics of their remote filler install? Looks like a great idea and relatively simple. I'm thinking of doing that for both of my trucks. They spend most of their time in the sand and I'm worried that I might contaminate the fluid when I'm checking.
Sasquatch, I've heard the same thing. I was outside locking the chain on the steering wheel the night I picked up the M35 and I figured I'd rivet the hasp on the door later since it was getting cold and dark. Well, my Mother-in-law was standing there and told me a story about a friend who made...
It's actually the shifter switch. It will hiss a bit. I can toggle it about half an inch and hear the transfer case start to engage and back it off. Sometimes that will stop it. Dry rotted seal? Rebuildable? I'll miss with it some more after the holidays.
Anyone had their air shifter switch leak? The short hose between the shifter and the junction was leaking at the swivel so I swapped that out and all seemed good. I was testing to make sure it was shifting and and noticed that the switch was hissing some. I toggled it a bit and it stopped...
All, The batteries on the the M35 I just picked up are D-E-D. I figured I'd try to desulfate then charge them before I run out and grab new batteries. It's nice and sunny here today and as soon as that solar plate hit the sun the Solargizer started to squeal. I pulled the leads from the batts...
FWIW, I read part of that thread and am not a big fan of K&N. The higher air flow may work to cool the turbo, but on my CBR954RR it was money wasted for those that bought them. The dyno doesn't lie repeatedly.
The truck I picked up yesterday has some oil leaking where the air line connects to the compressor. I'm guessing it's engine oil that's blowing by the compressor piston. There's no oil in the air tanks so it's not too much getting by. I'm going to go pick up a new fitting to see if that'll...
That's awesome! I have it on good word that the truck I won has air assist and if Leigh's boss doesn't keep the other truck, I might be able to get the winch from him. Give me a call if you need somebody to lug parts around during the week. Any wrench time would be great.
