Just letting everyone know that the 4 Star General member 84CUCV1ton will now be the new owner of the actual tool used in this video post - I gave him an honest deal.
Active Duty Military, I still want you motor pool guys to get your hands on one - especially if you are deploying overseas with...
Just got the tool last week, I've used it on my engine and made a video of it to get the word out.
Mines for sale if people don't mind slightly used - make an offer if interested.
Will throw down a good deal if you're active military and work on HMMWV and related diesel engines as my way of...
Colonel Linx310 - Thank you sir for your help in this matter.
That is the video I needed help posting too.
Well, with some good advice on bleeding the air out of the fuel system and reattaching a fuel wire to a fuel pump that needs juice for power, it's making sense to me at this point...
Up to bat again with another nest-infest in my "Rat Rig".
Posting essential info on places to look for these rodents and their routes of entry.

Go to the left of their webpage and scroll down to GLOW PLUG TOOL, and there you'll have it with free shipping!
Fearing the dreaded stuck glow plugs was a major suck in my project, now it's an "easy cheese" task for any motor monkey using this tool!
Can you tell I've been...

Steel Soldier M1031 CUCV - Trouble Shooting.
I'm having trouble just making this post work now!

This is good kit!
You could probably drive every vehicle in the motor pool over this tool and do no damage to it- and it's soldier proof!
Yes, you've been coin checked - Airborne!
It's late, but I wanted to keep my word and post a glow plug tool video and some others. Charging both batteries for another attempt this week. Almost forgot to mention that my "Rat Rig" had another surprise to offer up. My seat escaped any damages...
Thanks...gold stars for everyone!!!
The glow plug removal tool is 100% MADE IN AMERICA by JJ and A Racing Products out of Boring, Oregon.
From my understanding of talking on the phone, Jeff himself oversees five CNC tooling machines in their shop.
Good and honest guy to work with and he makes...
My first steel soldier project has been an adventure so far to say the least, but that's what's making me love this old truck more and more.
Truck is in great shape and wanted to note a walk around for both posterity to review and plan for my next visit up on the mountain to work on.
Weak...
Nice work in progress!
A set of HMMWV tires will give it a very big horse look!
My M1031 is on the same track for a conversion, simply based on ideas picked up from this forum...thanks team!
Being new to and catching the old horse fever, I can tell you that I'm hooked on older military vehicles and the people that drive them. So far as it goes, I am a motor pool of one and could use some genuine real people time meeting up and talking shop.
It'd be fun to convoy an event, parade...
I just bought a m1031, my first steel soldier, and would like to find someone that could use the generator, panel box and gov control box. It has only 2 hours total on the system.
It needs to go to someone who will use it and get the most out of it, 'cause I was eyeing the truck to be...
Also a new owner of a 1986 CUCV with the contractors utility box mounted on it. If I could use it, I'd keep it, but would rather let it go to someone who's looking for one.
My M1031 has been painted in desert sand and with less than 10,000 miles on the odometer and I couldn't be happier to put...
