Had some spare time at work, so I media-blasted and Parkerized all my spare lug nuts. Replaced the front 2 tires'. The other two will come on another boring afternoon.
Back when mine was stock I broke 100 on the 15S coming out of Vegas, in Rush Hour traffic too. I saw peoples heads turn when the giant Tan monster was out running all of them weaving through traffic. It was even a better sight that I was behind my buddy in his Tan m1009 as well.
How long could I let my '09 sit, either in the garage or driveway, until it would need maintenance to run again? I have a potential job that could take me away from my home 3-4 months at a time, and I'm trying to figure out my storage options.
What could be done to keep it from needing...

I've mix matched my Alt Belts before. When I had my mechanic do some work I had him replace all my belts while he was in there. One of my Alt belts was incorrect size (Gat Dang Autozone) and I had a spare belt for the opposite Alt. They're both ran perfectly. I have since replaced them with...
Once you get through The Pass in Colorado and get into Utah it's pretty flat on I-15 until you take the corner through Arizona then its all flat through Vegas, Barstow, Victorville, then you get into the Cajon Pass entering down in toward the Inland Empire. I'm in Orange County, so you have some...
See THIS is a legitimate natural disaster for the East Coast to panic about, unlike that puny 5.9 Earthquake Virgina had. Or as we call it in California "A Sneeze".
Glad you made it, and I hope all who were smart enough to get out of it's way will stay safe.
Remember once you pass Vegas to watch your speed. CHP is evil around there.
I don't know if you're hauling a trailer with you, but the speed in Cali for autos with a trailer is 55 MPH. Have a safe journey!
$4.09 is the closest to me. There are some a few miles away that are as low as $3.98(^^^ This one is an Arco as well).
Orange County isn't too horrible for fuel prices.
More south then west, Hesperia is quite a drive. Be extremely careful going through Victorville. I know the CHP out there and they are extremely strict about speed limits. And remember Calli has a 55 MPH limit when hauling a trailer. San Bernardino County guys are pretty strict to.
