I got mine off also by using a punch and 3 lb hammer and yes you do hear the pitch change when they loosen up

I have Condon and Skelly for over 2 years now and have 300k coverage I pay 62.00 a year. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

When I built mine to dump I ran 24v to the solenoid and picked up 12v between the batteries to control the solenoid and coils for the valves.

Very nice conversion I just mounted a 12v electric hydraulic scissor hoist on my deuce I made the hinge I just need to finish the trailer receiver part when I get that done Ill post some pictures I also installed a muffler and was the best thing I could have done.
