Thanks Warren Thats some good information, looks like I didn't by a 1963 . It's ok it still good . It is a B1 just a few year older. We just started on the M-715 yesterday it's really a good one no rust ,dosen't need any body work. A main seal ,clutch ,tires and paint. Thanks again...
I know there is a thread on Vin #'s for a m-37 I can't find it. I just found a # on the Frame in left front L-245-6825 . Would think thats the ID # there wasn't any plates on the dash It's a 1963B1 . I have a few other trucks none has any -'s in the ID #'s. Might be the right # just seems odd.
Don't be in a hurry I have a 7041 spicer AUX BOX behind my High -Low coming down 4th gear had no problem loaded . My truck could get away from ya with a the higher gear . Let the engine do it for you and like Maddawg said hit to brakes when needed watch your rpm's
I'm alway careful knowning what great brakes the Deuce has ( Not ). Last year going to Gettsburg on the P.A turn Pike Did real good . Just watched my RPM's and speed coming down . Let the engine do most of the work ,had no probem . I have what I need now to use the trailer brakes will be...

I took it to the gravel pit down the road put it on the scales 25,740 just a little less then our 5 ton the ( wild thing )
Anyone know if there's a early TM for the mechanical turn signal system. A wireing diagram , my 1967 has the the original distribution box. Would like to keep it original if possible, if not I'll have to change it to the solid state flasher.

I'm done after the 715 , I'm going to help Bob Eberly build the( JUDGE ) gun truck one of the few dump truck guntrucks .Was a 585th eng. truck assigned to the 815th with us in Nam . I have the truck at my shop.
