Stevens Mfg. M762, delivery date 6/67

Towed with the F350 at the moment. Hopefully soon it will ride behind a M1008.
Shown yesterday (6/20/2010) not long after getting it home.

... sort of. It's a 1964 M762 trailer. I picked it up this morning from a local guy who had it on Craigslist. From what I can tell it's almost all original, even both tail lights are still there and unmolested. I think it belonged to the Marine Corps, and doesn't appear...
Anyone know how Jay is doing this morning? I saw he said something about a car, should the need for a 4x4 truck that is faster than a deuce arise, I volunteer me and my civy 1 ton. It'd take me a couple hours to be onto 95, but it can be done. FWIW my cell is 910 470 2 seven seven 1.
I think digital print would look kinda cool inside. Not the entire thing of course, just some of it. And a Cummins for the powerplant [thumbzup]. I like it.
Keith_J makes a good point. I would like to point out though, in defense of Optimas, that they consider the Red tops starting/cranking batteries and the Yellow tops are deep cycle. That being said, i've had the same 2 red tops in my 7.3 for 2 years and have never had a problem, and I have a...
Stuff like that makes me not miss cable, although I do wish it would show up on Hulu or something so I could see just how bad it is (never seen it). I've always had a higher opinion of Discovery than that.
I'd like to know how the tires hold up over time, they're one of the ones in contention for my 1 ton.
And don't even mess with a 10k tow rope, you'll just make it mad. If it's not rated for more than 20 or 25k, it isn't even worth messing with. 2cents
People bob them because they paid for it, and they are entitled to do what they wish with it. That being said, I would never bob one because I work my vehicles doing what they were designed to do, and the Deuce is more appropriate in it's 10 wheeled form. I don't consider myself a purist by any...
I'll jump on the seafoam bandwagon as well, but would also like to mention the products from Power Service. They have a good line of additives for diesels and most contain a good injector cleaner but don't contain alcohol, and they also ease the negitive effects of the ULSD. In my 7.3 I run the...
Try a performance muffler for a civilian diesel truck. They're usually not very expensive, even for a good one. I know there are a few guys here that have put one on a deuce with good results.
I just now looked at the dimensions, and also remembered that i'll be headed up to Easton, MD soon, probably sometime in January. They'd probably fit in the back of the F350, so if no one else can get them up north by then i'd be more than happy to take them with me. The closer we could get them...
How can you say I assume something, you're not me. I threw out a possibility that I thought might work, and was politely shown (NOT by you) that it wouldn't work because of the way he is connecting. I'm a friggin Firefighter for crying out loud, we're not the brightest people in the...
