Pearat... I was contacted the other day about this truck in Lamont, OK. The owner sold the land that the truck is sitting on and will close on it in about a month. The truck is going to be scrapped if he can't get it sold. They were asking $500.
Story with it is it was purchased from the local...
I talked to Memphis the other day and seems they have what we need for a good price. They have a lot of things not listed on their website.
The roof rail weatherstripping is sold in 5 ft rolls and the price is currently about $1.87 a foot. The door weatherstripping is also sold in 5 ft rolls...
The samples from Steele came in today. Here are the pics.
The door weatherstrip is thicker but a little more narrow than the original.
The roof rail weatherstrip does not fit as tightly as the original stuff, but may be as close as we can get. It would have to be glued in place.
I'm going...
Steele Rubber is sending me samples of these to see if they are what we need for the doors.

I'll let you know if these work when they get here.
I'll keep looking for...

Do any of you have any weatherstrip that you could get dimensions off of? Mine is...
I'd gladly let you help! This has been quite the project for me. It will probably be another month before my friend can get back to finish up the welding. In the mean time I am going to have to learn how to break down these two piece rims and start putting newer tires on before the heat sets in...
We got some welding done yesterday. The wind and the welder were not cooperating so we did not get it all done. We'll try to finish up here soon.
I can't believe how many holes get drilled in these trucks over the years. Everything non-original is getting welded up.
These are what were...
Someone probably took it out and capped off where the gladhands would have hooked to.
Here are pics of what they did to one of mine. These are on the driver side of the frame.
The wiring harness was cut from the trailer connector and rolled up into the frame. All this is in the process of...
This one looks messy but could probably be cleaned up with time. I wish you had pics of the one you saw.
Yes it is.
I had not seen that thread before Plowboy. That truck looks great.
I forgot to mention that the bed of this truck is a dump bed. I also heard the owner priced it at $4000 and...
Only thing I can think that you might need is gasket material to make the lower oil pan gasket. That one will not come with the Felpro main oil pan set. We haven't been able to find a civilian equivalent for that since I think it is military specific.
We also need lots of pictures of the rear...
