Cool! I will add these as well. How should I list these so the wording is correct in the parts list? Reverse Cone and Reverse Piston for the #41a and #41? What about for Cone #113 and piston #113a?
Are you going to pick up that core transmission and rebuild it? If so, can you make a video or at...
It definitely takes all of us to build this parts list. Keep up the good work guys!!

Part numbers and everything!!! That is great information. I will get those added to our parts list soon.
There probably is not a huge demand right now. Maybe if we can come up with enough readily available parts and people see that these trucks can be brought back to life, there will be more of...
No. I need to call the man. Have been busy with some other projects. I see this truck on my way to and from work everyday and it is still there. I'll try to call him within the next week or so and find out the details.
Sorry for leaving you guys hanging on this
After receiving these words of wisdom from Another Ahab in reference to questioning weather I should use a Battery Tender, I did some research and decided to get one. Thank you Ahab for making this easy for me.
This is what I decided to get, believing it is what is best for my needs right now...
There are transmission rebuild kits available still and I have failed to list it in our parts list. I will re-confirm the part numbers with Sturmtyger380 (I think it was him that found the kit??)and get them posted up.
It seems that these trucks are getting harder to find and some areas of the...
What oil are you going to use in the airpak? Some people suggest hydraulic jack oil and some say air tool oil.
I ended up using the hydraulic jack oil,l but would like to see what your thoughts were.
Can you give us any specifics on where this pin is located? Might solve the issue on one of mine. It shifted fine 30 years ago but sat for 21 years before being used again. Sat another 6 years after that and I hope to get some work done on her as soon as I get her to the house. That will make 3...
This has not gone as easily as I had hoped. After removing the bolts the TM said, and attempting to pry the panel out and hammer down, I found out that at some point in this trucks life, someone decided to tack weld these panels together. Not the normal military spot welds. I sure wish I had...
I have started removing things to get the rusted panel out but have a few questions since I am not understanding what the TM is saying to remove. It says to remove the window frame.
Do I remove it from here?
Or here?
Also what is the best way to get this pin out?
I ran out of daylight...
This looks like it could be a little difficult. Lots of stuff to come off. I found out how to do it in my downloaded copy of TM9-1819.
NDT...Did you have to remove the back panel and everything else the TM says? I only need to replace the passenger side. Also what is the best way to remove the...
Getting geared up to do some more welding in a few weeks, I ran across this. It appeared to be some small bubbles at first until I started pushing on it with my finger.
This is on the passenger side above the toolbox. What is the best way to go about fixing this? One of my parts trucks...
