That carburetor rebuild manual is very handy. I have one and couldn't have done my rebuild right without it. You guys really did well on finding all that stuff.

We need a transmission rebuild thread so these great pictures and information isn't lost. What should we call the new thread? I'm really interested in seeing what solves the problem on that transmission. I'll be facing this obstacle in the near future.

I hear you on the time and money thing. Both can sure get scarce at times. Route 66 is 20 or 30 minutes south of me at most. If you guys go through the Tulsa area, let me know and maybe we can meet up for a meal or you can come over, look at the trucks and we'll cook out or go grab...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I for sure need a set of rear view mirrors with the arms. Possibly some other things, but I will have a better idea tomorrow. I'm currently trying to purchase a truck that has rock guards on the bumper, a near new Memphis rebuilt transmission with an REB shift kit and a hardtop. If I don't get...

Are those NOS mudflaps or did you cut new ones? My trucks need them too. If you made new ones, how did you do it? Interested to see how Goose shifts when you get more time to test. That pin seemed waaay down there.

    M211/M135 with 350 V8 and 4 speed manual transmission

Neat. Could you post up some pictures of it and how the engine and transmission is mounted? Linkages, etc? The brakes are a big job. I recently redid the brakes on one of my M135's.

They should have asked scrap price for them since that is what they ended up getting anyway. Or even advertised them better. So frustrating!!! Just thinking out loud. Such a waste.

I looked for that outer seal a while back. Still not having any luck finding new manufacture ones. Just cross referenced the nut and lock washer. PM sent with a question and links to what I found.

We'll put some pressure on him when the time comes then. That is a good looking M211 jeffhuey1n. Are those brand new engines? A military hardtop would sure look sharp on it.

Maybe we should all call him every day for the next couple of weeks and ask for a parts list of what we need to rebuild these.

I have done that and it is why my current muffler is hollow. I had to have the end welded back on. Where is the hole supposed to be to vent the gas?

You might visit with m1010plowboy. I think he was working on having some new mufflers made. Not sure where he is at on that right now.

I don't like to part anything out either, but the longer I am around these trucks, I have come to realize that some of the rougher trucks would be best used to keep the nicer ones on the road. The one in your pictures in my opinion would be best used as a parts donor. Mainly because the frame...
