When you install the new unit, measure it's current consumption and then install a fuse inline with it that has a slightly higher rating in order to protect the main light switch and the rest of the electrical system.
Don't need Redbull, 6 or 8 cups a day of coffee works for me.
It is by coffee alone I set my mind in motion.
It is by the brown beans that thoughts acquire speed,
the teeth acquire stains,
stains become a warning,
It is by coffee alone that I set my mind in motion...…
Be careful with your troubleshooting. Most of the circuit breakers used in switches aren't made to handle repeated overloads and you'll find that the reset time will quickly get longer and longer as the CB wears out. The life expectancy for CBs of that type is frequently measured in tens of...
Ray,
I'll be there but it looks like the OL will be stuck in Ok after all. I'll figure out some kind of food to bring. Oh, and I'll bring a couple of gallons of tea too.
If we're going to have fish then someone should bring the makings for hush puppies.
Xray,
Can you recommend a decent but cheap geiger detector or other detector that we can use to check our gauges and other surplus items? Also, I've been told that many of the glow in the dark gauges no longer glow due to the phosphorescent material wearing out even though the radium is...

That's the style that the Fla Nation Guard is currently using (black on white). Your picture is too small to read what on the vehicle but it may be another NG vehicle. I'm not sure, but I suspect that since NG vehicles are under state control (most of the time) that they follow what ever...
Lithium batteries should store safely for a VERY long time. The real trouble starts if you drill or cut into one!
Sorry can't help on the connector. I THINK I've seen the same connector used on some of the older NV googles but I never saw the cable and mating plug so I can help. But I go...
Those Li-SO2 batteries contain Lithium and Sulfur Dioxide and are NASTY when they leak! Be careful with them! Puncture one and they'll clear out a building! The gas toxic and highly corrosive.
