Fill the radiator, start the engine and allow it to run until engine is at normal temp. Likely it will leak just sitting in the driveway once the system gets pressure.
Go get a soft plug heater from any parts store, NAPA , etc. . Oil pan heaters dont heat the cylinders and thats where the heat needs to be. Block heaters (soft plug) work the best.
Yes you can charge each battery with a 12volt charger, but you must be sure to only connect to the battery posts on #2 battery . If you connect your charger or jump from another vehicle and connect to truck ground you will get 24 volt on the #2 battery. Also, if only one battery is discharged...
It means that the ground connection is insolated from the alternator case. The first alt output or positive is connected to the 2nd alt ground post. The first alt can be a normal case grounded alt.
Drive the joint as far as you can in one direction, then pull that cap off with some visegrips. Drive the joint the other direction and remove the last cap. Joint falls out. The hard part is putting it back together if you have no expierence. Good luck.
To get your milage back. Return to stock. Lift and tires will kill the milage everytime. Especially with the tall gears that the blazer comes with. The motor is working much harder now. And those 6.2 dont have that much to begin with.

The light was set off by the proportining valve that is mounted on the front cross member under the radiator. Thats where the light gets its signal from. If part of the system stops working the valve moves and sets off the dash light. The proportiong valve will reset itself. DONT waste your...
Leak in system has allowed the pedal to travel enough that the sensor in the proportioning valve set off the light. Could be low fluid, bad master cylinder piston seals, leaking wheel cylinder.
I just did mine a few months ago. Not much different than a gas engine. The pumps and or books call for anorobic sealer on the pump mating sufaces. Its now been replaced with the Permatex Ultra Grey rtv. Much easier to use.
If you want power on at all times that makes it even easier. Get an aux fuse block from napa or who ever. Run power wire directly from the front battery to the new fuse block.
