Easy and best way is to make a sub fuse panel. Power off truck switched fuse to relay that powers up the new panel. That way you can add as many circuits and draw all the power you need.

My guess is there is a problem with the dipstick. Wrong one or not installed properly.

The shift point for the blazer is quite a lot higher than the pickups. Different axle ratios.

The 208 was used because of the higher ratio in low range. 2.48 versus 1.96

Its funny that everyone calls those (lift ) rings. Every where on the trucks and manuals say they are for tie down only . Not lifting.

Maybe a distributor wrench for any chevy. Since that is what that pump replaces on a gas engine.

You need to verify that the Alt are working (volts and amps) before tearing the truck apart. Just because it was rebuilt doesnt mean it was a good job.

The # 2 alt is what charges the #1 and 2 battery. the #1 alt has no effect on # 2 battery. At least thats what the wiring diagram shows. So if the #2 alt craps out the #1 alt will charge the front battery and this will supply power to all the trucks 12 volt system. But it will leave the rear...

Shift is adjusted with the valve on the Inj Pump.

Alt #1 is drivers side, Battery # 1 is front. If checking belt tension doesnt fix it, then alt will need a rebuild.

Bad horn relay. I had to replace mine. Relay would click, but didnt send power to the horn.

Sounds like glow plugs are not working. 6.2 need glow plug heat to fire engine on initial start up , even in summer weather.
