Alright, just showed my wife the hat she could have if she came with me. Let's just say it wasn't enough to put her over the top, so I'll still be attending the rally by myself. I think it looks great! [thumbzup]
Yikes, that sounds like a terrible time for that Deuce owner. I hope I never find myself in a situation like that, and really doubt I will. I would think a D6 would about tear one of these in half (let alone a D9 like you used) unless they had poor footing as well and were just spinning...
Since I completed installation a week ago, I haven't had a chance to get stuck yet...
It snowed 10-12" here today, so went out this afternoon and messed around a bit. I hooked up to a large dead tree and pulled it from its resting spot pretty easily. It pulls very slowly, but didn't bog down...
I just purchased my non-winch M35 in December, and went back and forth on trying to decide which type of winch to install. After a lot of reading on here, I decided to go the electric route.
I looked at what options and ideas are out there for extending the front bumper. One online retailer...
Thanks for all of your help! I went back and forth on which tire brand to get, and found a pretty fair deal on the MVT's. I decided to get 2 'new' ones and 5 rated at 90% plus.
My new rims showed up today, and I'll post a few pics when I get the newer rubber installed on the truck. This...

As I'm starting to look at tires available for sale, am I correct in saying these do not need run flats or bead locks? Some tires come with them, but the majority don't unless...
Thanks, general consensus and common sense says they need replaced, especially if wanting to drive on highways.
So the problem now is trying to decide if the MVT's or the Michelins will fill my needs better. To be honest, I doubt I'll see much deep mud. That could change, I just don't know...
I just picked up this truck a few weeks ago. It came singled out with the Michelin 395 XML's mounted to the stock deuce rims. My original plan was to order mrap wheels and adapter plates, then mount these tires on them. After reading about how people have experienced blowouts with these tires...
Appreciate the welcome!
And yes, I agree, women are already tough. But trying to get my wife in the driver's seat of the deuce could prove to be futile. It took me several months just to get her on a riding lawn mower...
Hey everyone, I've been searching and reading your great site for a while now. I've obviously never posted, just trying to learn what I could. Several weeks ago I finally found what I was looking for that was the right price, and picked up my first one, an M35A2. Surprisingly, the only flack...
