I would like to point out that doing so will place the entire glow plug "load" on one battery, not saying it wont work just that it may kill that battery. Even the civy 12v diesels use two batteries..

you dont have to be in the military to post here but I will warn you that if you plan to modify your vehicle such as a 12v conversion, lift, bigger tires, axle swaps, or alter anything that is not to mil spec you will be better off looking to other forums. :roll::wink:

I'm thinking I'll be cutting out a little more around it. I dont have the heat shield but I do have some special wrap for the exhaust and one for the manifold. I also have some thick matting for the firewall, looks like burlap but its white. as for it being dumb maybe a little more work but...

I would like to know how you plan on buttoning up that firewall after cutting it out for turbo.. you will need to space that heater off the fire wall too!! heres what I got so far
