nothing from Delks. Maybe such a small part isn't worth the time to look. I will try to have it welded but it broke right at the flange so hopefully a good tig guy can get to it
I can also say the Hella 200mm H4's are the absolute best. I even put in a set of Bi-xeon H-4 bulbs and WOW- they are bright. The bi-xeon ballasts and bulbs were almost plug and play and come with the relay and the price was right.
If the unit has the "old" style regulator you are fine, if the new style, your not. You can disconnect the field wires if its the new style and idle it all day. I have read these engines are designed to go to 3600rpm right after start up. Don't know how true that is.
they didn't use good clamps on those, probably because there is no pressure on the hose, could be there, could be the seal, could be the gasket over the cover of the oil pump. I wonder with all that oil pressure maybe it blew out that gasket on the cover. Yank it apart, you got the whole weekend!!
I had one a while back with a leak like yours. Turns out it was the rear engine oil seal. The fan blew oil all over, not a hard job but it takes time. Oil pressure is way to high, gauge may be off or like you said, the regulator may be stuck.
there is a small "bag" filter at the end of the pickup tube in the fuel tank. Sometimes they get clogged up with "stuff" and it gives the indication the fuel filter is clogged.
sorry to bring this up again. Anyone had any luck with this float problem? I bought a couple of brass floats for a Tecumseh, fabed up out of brass new brackets. Got any suggestions the best way to solder them on without having the float to leak? thanks
I had that noise. It turned out to be the vacuum line going to the transmission. At certain rpm's it would vibrate against the body and it sure sounded like lifter "rattle"
I guess the only other thing that can cause this is a bad Hz transmitter or gauge. Do you notice the engine speed slowing down or speeding up when the Hz changes? 90% of the time it's the governor "hunting" for that perfect 3600rpm
