    oil pressure gauge

    thanks guys. The gauge is a 0-60 24volt for a MEP-017 and the sending unit is from a HMMWV. Looks like it might just work. I will keep the light also.

    anyone here ever install a military style oil pressure gauge (24v) in a cucv? Can I get the 24v from the volt meter? I have the sensor and the gauge. It will be located right next to the volt meter. thanks

    I meant the injection pump throttle shaft seal. After these engines sit for a long time the shaft seal (o-ring) stops sealing, the diesel fuel leaks and goes down the engine valley to a hole in the back of the block. It then drains down the back of the block and out the hole in the inspection...

    One more thing to check. See if your IP throttle is dripping diesel and running down the back of the block and out the hole in the inspection cover.

    Hi everyone, I just received a couple of 6.2's in cans and I'd like to test run them. My question is can I plug the oil cooler fittings or should I run a hose between them before firing them up? Any other suggestions would be great!! thanks very much!!

    Has anyone here used fastrack logistics for P/U and delivery? My EUC cleared last week for a couple of 6.2's out of Columbus and I contacted them to deliver them here in Syracuse. Hope I did the right thing!!

    forgot, it does not make the noise at idle, only at fast idle and when under light load, 25mph or so
