    Gen 1 light coming on

    It sounds like your heater blower motor is shorted out. The heater fuse "turns on" gen#1 so when it blows the gen#1 light stays lit.

    and if it still does not work, check the heater fuse. That's what turns on gen 1 if I am not mistaken

    Does anyone know the weight of a complete 6.2 engine? I have to change the freeze plugs and I think it might be easier if I just pull the engine to do it. there a a couple of them that are nearly impossible to get to. thanks very much!!

    if you look in the parts manual it shows the spacers between the frame and the cross member. I think they are pretty important.

    Does anyone know what these bucket seats were originally designed for? I ordered some seat covers for a 84 full size blazer and they are way to large. I wonder if Chevrolet put S-10 bucket seats in them :?::?:

    It's probably a bad fitting heater fan fuse. this fuse also turns on the alternator.

    a 24 volt starter will use half the amps a 12 volt will.
