Morning all, I won a m101 last night, good shape. If I have to change the bulbs for 12 volt m1009 stop/taillights, should I bring with me 1157's. Thanks very much
could be a bad voltage regulator in that alternator, over charging the battery. Check voltage on the battery with engine running. Anything more than 14.7 volts indicates overcharging.
Just got around to posting my "new" 1009. Picked it up in May this year at Lakehurst, put a windshield in it. (I cracked it) Sorry it's tinted, same price so why not!! Put new exhaust last week, thanks Mike!! Runs good!!
sorry about the pink, crazy colors back then. I do remember it was a gasser, I used to split shift it, take note of the small lights below the signal lights. damn, I wish I could remember!!
Back in 1971-72 I worked at Udorn in an outfit called DET1,56SOW. I helped maintain the T-28 aircraft that we gave to the laotian and Cambodian people.Yes, this was "Air America." The truck in the picture was one of three junkers behind the hanger we worked in. they belonged to JUSMAG. I took it...
I think they are the same with the exception of ALT1 and ALT2 idiot lights, and don't forget the diesel fuel gauge, kind of rare on civilian vehicle. If I remember only 3% of all blazers made were diesels.
I'd like to get a new (rebuilt) set of injectors for my 6.2 but everybody asks if they are coarse thread or fine thread. Anyone know if the J code engine is coarse or fine? How about a good source for the injectors? E-bay maybe? thanks much
Hi, anyone got a source for driver seat foam and cover for a 1009? Typical seat bottom. I think they are just "hog ringed" on so being a do-it-yourselfer I'd like to tackle this. thanks very much!!
Anybody here know of the whereabouts of a complete exhaust system for a 1009? I'd like to keep it like it is if possible. My front pipes are starting to get a bit spongy.(hope that sounds right!) thanks much!!
