    could be a bad voltage regulator in that alternator, over charging the battery. Check voltage on the battery with engine running. Anything more than 14.7 volts indicates overcharging.

    thanks for the info. I wish I knew how many miles it really had on it. It showed 02500.2 when I picked it up. I know that can't be true.

    Just got around to posting my "new" 1009. Picked it up in May this year at Lakehurst, put a windshield in it. (I cracked it) Sorry it's tinted, same price so why not!! Put new exhaust last week, thanks Mike!! Runs good!!

    M1009 Dashboard Replacement

    I think they are the same with the exception of ALT1 and ALT2 idiot lights, and don't forget the diesel fuel gauge, kind of rare on civilian vehicle. If I remember only 3% of all blazers made were diesels.

    I'd like to get a new (rebuilt) set of injectors for my 6.2 but everybody asks if they are coarse thread or fine thread. Anyone know if the J code engine is coarse or fine? How about a good source for the injectors? E-bay maybe? thanks much

    Hi, anyone got a source for driver seat foam and cover for a 1009? Typical seat bottom. I think they are just "hog ringed" on so being a do-it-yourselfer I'd like to tackle this. thanks very much!!
