No CTIS and tires are about 65. The XZL loaded up like a set of 177 (pun intended). At least with the trailer unhooked, I came out forward under my own power, once going. This was intended to be a joy ride through the field for my wife and her women friends. They probably took some to remind...
Found a wet spot from all the rain (5-7") in my field and stuck it (929a2) pulling the 1061 trailer. Looked solid.
Low range reverse...had to use it but very gentle. Since the truck was about a foot lower than the empty trailer, I could not get the jack down to unhook. I went for the...
The spring pack on a 105 has 11 leafs plus overloads. Weld trailer, with the size welders we have, could loose a few. I'm lucky with the 1101 to have torsion and shocks.
I use a block on mine to drain the rain out. When I go looking for a dump the bed is the first place to look. I know of a couple 817s that held water and they are junk. No problem with hydraulics.
Also can use the 16.5 tubeless tires/rims from a 1061 or bolster trailer. The rims in budd that Wes refers to are Isuzu. I know Vermont is far from Florida, but there are 3 1061 rims in the classified by DrEvilPorkchop.
There is a basic flaw in our money system. We use a reserve requirement on banks, then let them loan out 95 dollars of new money .....with interest. That 95 dollars is a debt.....no, the debt is on 100. Taxes pay the our government debt.
A graph of the " dollar" growth, principle and...
They are visible against the green background and while I have a title, I'm not buying plates. I'm keeping 32,000 commercial farm plates on the 929....so they get plenty of my money.
I'm a slow moving farm vehicle (I have the triangle to prove it). Ha. I keep the caps on when going far (off the farm) and they are sandwiched between the wheel well, the welder and a reduced size gate. The tank would have to go through a tool box and front wall of the trailer. Nope, don't...
I like to lay my oxygen bottles flat on the floor to keep the CG low. Then I use a 20 lb lp tank (also low). I carry (3) 330 cu ft tanks and 2 lp tanks with my Hobart in an 1101. A side opening box is in the front and another box is on the extended tongue (kept the surge brakes but went to...
Would it help to look at an A3 with the 3116....year 97 and toward the end.
I'll pay for some help changing the Allison. Have one 1545 rebuilt ready to go in.
What the deuce really needs is 590 gears. Then even the Allison 545 would work and avoid the 1545.
If you go to Peru or south bend, come on up to Rochester. I'll show you my deuce project and can let you try out my m929A2, which will give you something to compare.
I have charging at 240
I've bought and used many junk yard rims with very good tires for $25-50. Don't use the NDT bias, use a normal radial (light) truck tire. About Every tire shop has a pair used. They are the same as the many Dexter 8 lug axles on dump trailers and the like.
Sorry if my post is not exactly on topic concerning your air supply. My pics are however a fail safe hydraulic dual system that with enough information and invention, might be adapted. There are no "fail safe" brakes until one is into air operated. You are using the wrong term. Air brakes as...
Here you go. I don't know what has a high pressure dual brake system, but I have a couple of them.
The system, I believe, has hydraulic accumulators. That pressure switch is set at 2000#, must be a supply.
